About the Author

Short stories by Irehobhude O. Iyioha have appeared in Transition Magazine by Harvard University, Litro Magazine of the United Kingdom, the Canadian Maple Tree Literary Supplement, as well as in published anthologies. She was long-listed for the 22nd Annual Short Fiction Competition (2015), of the Writers Union of Canada, for the short stories brave and transatlantic, both of which are included in this collection, longlisted for the CBC Short Story Prize 2021, shortlisted for the BPA First Novel Award, UK, and received a Special Commendation from the 2016 Caine Prize, London, UK for the short story, This Time It Will Be All Right. She studied English and Literature for a year before obtaining a doctorate in law. Irehobhude O. Iyioha lives in Victoria, Canada
