About the Author

Born a twin and baptized as Felicia Nwakaego Agweze, I adopted the name Sandra in high school. My father, Benedict Ozue, from Issele Uku, met my mother Jeanette Beatrice Agweze; both were teachers in her village Egbudu Akah. They had twins, but my brother, born a day before me, did not survive. My mother, who later studied Nursing on a scholarship she attributed to divine providence, instilled in me strong Christian values.

Educated at St. Theresa’s Catholic School, Egbudu Akah, and Mary Mount College, Agbor, my love for writing was ignited by my diligent English teachers, especially Mrs. Cannon. My grandmother and Aunt Vero, with whom I grew up, taught me discipline, hard work, and resilience—qualities I passed on to my children.

I graduated from Auchi Polytechnic in 1980 with a Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Administration, and after my NYSC at Government Technical College Ogoja, Cross Rivers State, I worked at A.G. Leventis Group as a Personal Assistant, eventually resigning as a manager after eleven years.

A life-changing encounter led me to pursue a spiritual path, culminating in a Higher Diploma in Chaplaincy/Christian Education and a Doctorate in Theology from Faith Bible Theological College, Ogun State, after which I was ordained as a Pastor/Reverend in 1996. My love for children and teaching drew me to some private schools in my community where I taught for a few years. I continued my teaching and counselling ministry in my local church, The Redeemed Evangelical Mission, (TREM) where I taught Believers’ classes and marriage counselling for those intending to get married.

My artistic talents shine through my paintings, and singing & songwriting, a talent I have cultivated since I was a child, bringing joy and inspiration to many.
