About the Author

Ishaq Yakubu is an adolescent African writer, author, poet, and literary enthusiast from Kogi State, Nigeria. He is the author of Some Letters From the Heart, a poetry book with the central theme of love. His love for writing began as a child after being exposed to the works of the great English playwright, poet, and actor William Shakespeare by his mother. Others that influence his work include Mahmoud Darwish, John Green, and Rupi Kaur. He currently resides in Abuja, Nigeria, where he is enrolled as an undergraduate student. Growing Pains is his second published book.
