James Popoola is a globally recognized Nigerian entrepreneur, multi-published author, global speaker, leadership coach and trainer with the passion to get young people out of their limiting mindset.

He is fondly known as “Gen Z Coach”, and he provides guidance for Gen Z to kickstart the journey to personal development and financial freedom seamlessly with strategic paradigms. While he considers himself a student in life, he recorded excellent academic performance as a graduate of History and International Studies from the prestigious University of Ilorin, Ilorin (UNILORIN), Nigeria. James holds a mini MBA from Tekedia Institute and Lagos Business School. James is a Sam Adeyemi Leadership Certified Coach through the Daystar Leadership Academy.

James is a member of local, regional, and international organisations, which include: YALI Network, Wiki Vibrance, Project Management Institute, American Historical Association, Lagos Studies Association, and Historical Society of Nigeria, among several others.

He served in numerous capacities during his college degree. He served as a group leader, class representative, diplomat-in-training, Communications Director, the Young African Leaders Initiative, Kwara Chapter and as the fifth President of the Wikimedia Fan Club at the University of Ilorin during his final year. In addition, he served as ICT Coordinator and Final Year Brethren Leader at the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Campus Fellowship (MFMCF) at UNILORIN.

James served his fatherland as a corps member during the National Youth Service Corps at the Nigerian apex citadel of learning, National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos, Nigeria. James emerged as one of the two national champions during the 2024 United Nations Summit of the Future historical event which allowed him to represent Nigerian youth at the United Nations as a young diplomat representing the voice of over eighty million youth population in Nigeria.
