About the Author
Beatrice A.O.A. Fisher is a seasoned legal practitioner, author, and advocate for women’s rights. Called to the Nigerian Bar in 1972, she is the Founder and Principal of Beatrice Fisher & Co., a corporate law firm she has led since 1975. A member of several prestigious legal associations, including FIDA, the Nigerian Bar Association, and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), she has dedicated her life to justice, education, and empowerment. She served as a United Nations Representative for FIDA and is the author of FIDA: A Tribute to Women Lawyers Worldwide. This memoir marks a powerful reflection on a life of service, legacy, and unshakable dignity.
