Abigail Serwaa Wiredu is a communications professional, storyteller, and founder of Luminate PR Consulting, a communications consultancy based in Accra, Ghana. Through her work, she explores themes of identity, healing, and the quiet connections that shape our lives.

Adetutu Tayo works as a program manager empowering youth and women through digital literacy. She began writing as a way to break free from confinement in her childhood. After 19 years of writing off and on, and having recently emerged from a long break, Adetutu is reconnecting with her creative roots.

Benedict Wilfred is a 23-year old writer based in Lagos. His debut work, Rewards, earned the inaugural Iko Africa Award. After a creative hibernation, he returns with a new kind of love story for “Ponmo Is A Bird That Has No Place in the Cultured Culinary Sky and Other Stories.”

Ekeoma Ohaegbulam is an author, writer, and strategic communications advisor whose fifteen-year career has included crafting speeches and policy narratives for senior leaders across Nigeria’s public, private, and social sectors. He is a 2019/2020 African Liberty Writing Fellow and a 2012 alumnus of the Fidelity Bank International Creative Writing Workshop. He has also served as General Editor at The Avalon Daily.

Julie Ambani is a Nairobi‑based writer and storyteller with a flair for capturing the vibrant and unexpected moments of life. With a background in communications and account management, she’s harnessed the power of words to shape ideas and drive conversations.

Jesimiel Williams is a writer from Lagos, Nigeria whose writing delves into life, identity and nostalgia. His work has been published in Tint Journal, Ake Review, Brittle Paper, and Journal of African Youth Literature, as well as anthologies like The Story Tree and Sink or Swim. When he’s not writing, he’s lost in an old movie and alternative music.

Natasha Mukamba is a writer and storyteller whose work explores love, identity, and the emotional landscapes of African womanhood. She is the author of Bits and Pieces, a COPPA Book Award–nominated nonfiction work for young women.

Oluchukwu Nwabuikwu was born in Aba, and all his life, he’s felt like a spare part. He is inspired by the magic of the everyday; his work draws from his own life and that of the people around him. When not writing, you’ll find him behind the decks as an emerging DJ, or enjoying a plate of ewa agoyin. He believes two things are essential to being human: staying connected to nature and treating everyone with kindness, regardless of who they are.

Pearl Bassey is a Nigerian writer whose work explores love, ambition, and the quiet complexities of everyday life. She began writing short stories as a way to unwind and reflect on the subtleties of human relationships and identity.
