About the Author

Eghoghon Sarah Ifidon is a filmmaker and storyteller who writes stories that feel real, stories that sit with you, question you, and sometimes stay longer than you expect.

Her work is inspired by everyday experiences, the things we don’t always talk about, and the quiet moments that shape who we become. Through both film and writing, she explores themes of identity, memory, and human vulnerability in a way that is honest, reflective, and deeply personal.

She holds a background in Mass Communication and an MRes in Film from the University of Reading, and has created documentaries that have been selected at international film festivals. Her storytelling continues to grow through her production company, Iseland Films.

The Yellow Door is part of that journey, a story that invites you to look a little closer, feel a little deeper, and perhaps see something of yourself within its pages. Her storytelling is shaped by lived experience, observation, and a desire to create works that linger long after they are encountered.
