About the Author

Yugo Gabriel Egboluche is a multidisciplinary writer, a creative and development practitioner with a vast interest in telling fresh African stories and re-imagining the African narrative. Born and bred in Southern Nigeria, Yugo attended the prestigious University of Nigeria, where he gained a Bachelor’s degree in Geography before proceeding to the University of Central Lancashire to obtain a Master’s degree in Business Management. Asides from poetry, Yugo is a screenwriter, copywriter, lyricist, a fiction and nonfiction writer. His poems and short stories have appeared in numerous webzines, chapbooks, international anthologies and academic journals. With several screenplays already filmed, he has also edited and co-authored numerous community development texts and guidebooks. When he isn’t writing or creating, he juggles between work in the academic and development sectors.
