Brief Profile of the Author
Dele Ogun, is a London-based author, lawyer, speaker and commentator on world affairs. Following his call to the English Bar, by Lincoln’s Inn, in 1985, he developed a reputation in corporate law practice in the City of London. An alumnus of the U.S. State Department’s International Exchange Programme, he has been a panellist in several high-level discussions on African affairs. He enjoys self-expression as an author with his membership in the Society of Authors.
His 2017 book, ‘A Fatherless People’ has attracted rave reviews on Amazon, in both hardback and audiobook formats, and is a detailed history of Nigerian leadership, from the earliest days of British Colonialism to the present. It follows his equally acclaimed autobiography, The Law, The Lawyers and The Lawless. His other works include Ostrich Nation, Oyinbo Came to Africa, A Slave Ship Called Jesus and the Foreword to The Life and Times of Mrs Evelyn Ene: an autobiography of a Biafra War survivor.
