About the Author

Growing up in Nigeria, in high school (Obizi High School), Uzoma Chukwuocha was a science student, but he was given concessional access to Literature classes by the then Literature teacher (Mr. Alimole) who saw early his healthy appetite for written and spoken words. Ever since that early encounter, Uzoma has maintained and fed his enchantment with the literary world.
He kept writing for personal amusement and expression. Writing then recently became a more serious hobby for this practicing physician.

His articles have been published in a number of magazines and online news outlets, including TELL, and THE WHEEL, to mention just a few. This collection of essays and poems is his first published book.
He is working on his second book, a historical fiction set in pre-colonial Igbo land, in present-day Nigeria.
