Sejuro is a Nigerian writer whose work sits at the crossroads of memory, madness, humour, and social commentary. He writes about Lagos, love, grief, politics, masculinity, and the quiet violence of everyday survival. His style is deeply introspective, often nonlinear, and driven by a raving voice, blending poetic language with raw observation and cultural specificity. Love, Death, and Rants is his debut book, born out of scenes of personal loss, national frustration, and an urgent need to document what it feels like to live, love, and remain human in a collapsing system. When he is not writing, Sejuro is usually looking for the next meal with plantain, noticing too much, or trying to survive Lagos traffic—sometimes all at once.
