About the author.

Admiral Madueke is a retired Chief of the Naval Staff of the Nigeria Navy. A graduate of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Britannia Royal Naval College (BRNC) Dartmouth England, and School of Maritime Operations (SMOPS) Southwick, UK. He is a Member of the Royal Institute of Navigation, London (MRNI), and Member of the Nautical Institute, London (MNI). He served two tenures as Military Governor of Old Anambra State and Old Imo States. These capabilities also ensured his rise to the top of his Service as Chief of the Naval Staff. Since his retirement, Admiral Madueke has made a successful transition into the business world as Chairman of Radam Maritime Services Ltd, Regalia Nigeria Ltd, Excel E & P (Marginal Oil Fields) Ltd, Solid Rock Securities and Investment Ltd, Executive Chairman, Interconnect Clearinghouse Nig. Ltd, and a host of other Board appointments.
