About the Author

Simbiyat Natalie Folorunsho is the founder of the Girlity Foundation for the Development of the Girl Child, Nigeria, an organization committed to empowering girls through education, leadership development, and psychosocial support.
She is deeply passionate about the role of girl-child education and mental wellbeing in societal development, and works to help girls discover, develop, and distinguish themselves for success across their academic, personal, and professional pursuits, while fostering diligence, resilience, and purpose.
Simbiyat is an alumnus of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where she earned a BSc.Ed in Integrated Science Education, and she is a registered member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). She further advanced her professional training at Nasarawa State University, where she obtained a Postgraduate Diploma and currently pursuing an MSc in Clinical Psychology.
An advocate and thought leader at the intersection of education, psychology, and social impact, Simbiyat continues to champion conversations and initiatives that promote psychological wellbeing, empowerment, and sustainable development for women, girls, and young people. She is happily married to Tayo Folorunsho, an edutainment consultant, and together they are blessed with two beautiful daughters.
