He is the Executive Chairman of the Economic Growth and Development Centre (Economic Centre). At the Economic Centre, he leads his Total Economic Development Training program and global Study Tours. He is also the Chairman of Economic and Business Strategies (EBS). Both organizations are based in Dallas, Texas, with the African offices in Abuja, Nigeria.

Prof. Kpakol served as Chief Economic Adviser to the President of Nigeria and as National Coordinator of the National Poverty Eradication Program (NAPEP). A passionate advocate for poverty eradication, inclusive growth and sustainable development, Prof. Kpakul combines decades as an economics professor with years of international economics, global business and economic policy experience in the United States, Nigeria and Canada. He holds a PhD in Political Economy from the University of Texas at Dallas in the United States of America.
