About the Author

Ezinne Ibe founded The Female Professional’s Book Club (TFP Book Club) in February 2017 as a platform for female professionals from diverse backgrounds who love to read, and discuss books across borders, talk about issues that affect women in the workplace and share information and knowledge on various topics. Registered as an Incorporated Trustee, we have a BoT of 6 and a membership of about 120 female professionals. Our activities are aligned with – SDG3 (Good health and Well-being), SDG4 (Quality Education), SDG5 (Gender Equality), SDG8 (Decent work & economic growth), SDG10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SGD17 (Partnerships for goals).
Ezinne is result-oriented with a strong background in Project Management, in-depth knowledge and understanding of the various life cycles of a project. Backed by robust credentials and a history of on-time, on-budget and high-quality project completions for over eight years at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), she understands that the work environment is evolving daily, and this has made her embrace a lifestyle of continued learning.
At Nexgen Energy, a renewable energy company she co-founded, she works as the Director, Administration, and Projects and oversees daily strategic support for operations and management of the company projects. She holds educational and professional qualifications as follows – BSc in Geology (University of Calabar), Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from University of Ibadan, Associate, Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), Member, Nigeria Institute of Management, (NIM), Fellow, Chartered Institute of Administration (CIA) and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Ezinne enjoys mentoring young people, networking and supporting courses that advance women. She was the president of Women Connected by Purpose (NGO) from 2014 – 2017. In 2017, she founded The Female Professional Book Club (TFP) and today, the book club hosts over 120 professional women with membership cutting across 8 cities in Nigeria, 4 Countries and 33 Professions. The book clubs’ activities are aligned with 6 Sustainable Development goals to ensure impact through passion. (SDGs) During her spare time, she likes to play the piano, read, and write. Happily married to Uka Ibe, they both have two adorable daughters going for gold.
